Centre allows states, UTs to hire buses for transportation of train passengers

NEW DELHI: Heeding the request of some state governments to allow buses to ferry passengers arriving by trains to their houses, the house ministry on Thursday permitted state and Union territory governments to interact special buses from railway stations wherever public/private transport shouldn't be obtainable. Social distancing norms will, nevertheless, have to be maintained whereas operating these particular buses.
The home ministry had on Might 11 put out the standard working procedures for the motion of passengers by practice.
